About Us
Real estate development is relationship development.

When Dan Neyer launched Neyer Properties in 1995, his first line of business wasn’t contracts — it was conversations.
What began as an effort to build relationships down the street and across town became the groundwork for our first projects. And the next. And the one after that.
Today, that same relationship-first approach is a hallmark of Neyer Properties, carried forward by every member of our team.
Founded on the belief that real estate development is relationship development, Neyer Properties was built differently.
What to Expect
Yes, we’re different.
And, we like it.
Not stuffy. Not selfish. Not showy. Here’s how we’ve earned a different reputation:
We’re good people doing good work — and we own it.
We show up, enjoy the process, and push past what’s expected. We take responsibility, respect each other, and don’t shy away from high standards.
Working at Neyer might not be for everyone. But if it’s for you, you’ll know.

Our story
Neyer Through the Years
1967

1995
Dan meets 1:1 with everyone he knows and shares his vision to change communities through real estate. He launches Neyer Properties that same year.

2009
Neyer Properties pledges to build all future Class A office projects to LEED standards, pioneering LEED in the Tri-State area with projects like Keystone Parke, Red Bank Crossing medical campus, and the American Red Cross Regional headquarters.

2014
Neyer Properties buys the historic Baldwin building and associated office building and garage at an online auction, fulfilling Dan’s childhood dream to own a piece of Cincinnati history. The team transforms the nearly vacant complex into a thriving mixed-use campus.

2016
We break into the Deloitte Cincinnati 100’s list of biggest private business, as ranked by revenue.

2024
Neyer Properties expands its portfolio – and its reach – with the launch of Torque Suites.

Fortune favors the bold (and a few broken bones).
Raised in a family deeply rooted in construction and real estate, Dan Neyer grew up understanding that buildings shape lives — and that doing the right thing matters, even when it’s harder.
When he founded Neyer Properties, he built the business by leaning into his strengths, trusting his convictions and taking on the work others wouldn’t – or couldn’t – do.
Dan is known for pushing limits — in business and in life. A lifelong athlete and self-proclaimed adrenaline enthusiast, he believes growth happens outside your comfort zone. That spirit of boldness, paired with long-term responsibility, helped shape the cultural foundation of Neyer Properties.
Today, Dan leads the team with a clear charge: be bold, stay intentional, and never cut corners.
