AD-EX International, a tradeshow, exhibit, and corporate marketing company, has signed a 10-year lease with Neyer Properties at its Interstate Corporate Center (ICC) in Woodlawn.
The project will maintain and relocate 30 fulltime jobs to the ICC in Woodlawn, and create another 10 full time jobs over a three-year period, said Dan Neyer, president of Neyer Properties. The ICC building is now fully leased. “This is a bright spot in local business news,” said Neyer. “We take great pride as well as pleasure in helping companies and communities boost economic development and add jobs whenever we have the opportunity.”
Neyer Properties developed and built AD-EX”s 150,000 square foot corporate headquarters at its 1301 Glendale-Milford Road site in 2000. The new 34,780 square foot building is located next door.
Estimated value of the lease is $2 million.
“We are moving our tech fulfillment center to our new location to streamline operations,” said Joe Rickard, CEO for AD-EX International. “The new building is laid out quite well for us as to creating efficiency and a greener operation.”
Lighting in the new space is via natural light and fluorescent bulbs, and display carpet and panels are environmentally-friendly with low or no VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Rickard said the old tech center was located in Sharonville, eight miles away, and it could take up to 20 minutes to visit the Glendale-Milford site, where the trade show side of the company is located.
He also said that a new fiber-optic communications line links the two buildings, which allows all data communications and Web applications to run faster. “We”re very pleased overall,” he said.
The Interstate Corporate Center is located in Hamilton County”s Enterprise Zone, qualifying it for a 75 percent tax exemption on new investments in real property for a period of seven years, said Jeff Chamot, development project manager and LEED AP at Neyer Properties.
AD-EX will invest about $500,000 into the project. The company has offices in Cincinnati and Chicago.
Construction has begun on the office space interior, and AD-EX is slated to move into its new space in March, 2009. Neyer Properties, Inc. is a leading real estate investment, land development and commercial development company in the greater Cincinnati-northern Kentucky region. It is headquartered at Keystone Park in Evanston, the tri-state”s first green office campus. Keystone Parke recently attained LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Silver status.
