About this Project

The American Red Cross Headquarters and Disaster Operations Center was completed in June 2010, on-time and more than $1 million under budget. The new 3-story, 47,500 square foot building is located within Keystone Parke, the region’s first LEED-certified private office campus.

End user requirements included:

  • A central location within the limits of the City of Cincinnati
  • Easy access to and from the building in addition to adequate parking
  • A designated and protected disaster relief facility
  • Flexibility in the space design in order to respond to disasters of varying sizes

Neyer Properties negotiated with the Cincinnati Park Board and Cincinnati Recreation Commission and procured easements from ODOT to attain the site the American Red Cross desired. The creative site design integrated up to 40’ of elevation change, with multi-level entrances, docks, and underground disaster center. The space additionally features  state of the art CAT 7 data system, access flooring, audio visual systems throughout and flexible/expandable disaster reaction centers.
