Our Team

Anthony Evans, CPA

Director of Asset Financial Management
Drawn by the opportunity to bring his 30 years of accounting, finance, and operational leadership experience to a new industry, Anthony joined Neyer Properties in 2021.

Throughout his career, he has built broad accounting expertise across manufacturing, construction, automotive, retail, insurance, and the student/private transportation sectors; he is also a Certified Public Accountant. When Neyer sought a seasoned financial professional to help grow and stabilize its accounting team following pandemic-era personnel changes, Anthony knew it was the right place to make an impact. One of his proudest accomplishments has been helping build and develop the team in place today.

In his role, Anthony oversees and optimizes the financial capital performance of the company’s operating assets. He leads the annual budgeting and forecasting process for Neyer’s portfolio, guides strategic financial and capital planning of operating assets, oversees quarterly investor financial reporting, and partners closely with the company’s CPA firm on long-term strategic initiatives.

At this stage in his career, Anthony is motivated by continuous learning, growth, and the chance to mentor rising professionals. He takes great satisfaction in collaborating with and coaching younger professionals as they gain confidence and overcome obstacles to grow toward success.

He approaches every challenge with the belief that failure ultimately leads to success—so long as you refuse to give up. A quote that reflects his mindset comes from José Ortega y Gasset: “We distinguish the excellent man from the common man by saying that the former is the one who makes great demands on himself, and the latter who makes no demands on himself.”

Anthony’s favorite part of working at Neyer is the people—the camaraderie, the relationships, and the day-to-day banter that make the work enjoyable. He values the company’s culture of openness, particularly the leadership’s willingness to give employees exposure to areas they want to explore.

Outside of office hours, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family—coaching his son’s baseball team, attending his daughter’s dance competitions, and unwinding with his wife after busy days full of activities. When he finds solo time, he can often be found hitting the gym or fishing. A proud resident of Cincinnati, he likes that though the city isn’t too large, there are always new things to discover. He particularly enjoys the music scene—taking his son to rock and roll concerts when they come to town.
