His journey with Neyer Properties began as a co-op, where he learned the fundamentals of the company’s accounting processes and the commercial real estate industry as a whole. After gaining experience in public accounting, he returned to Neyer upon graduation as our Property Accountant. Since then, his responsibilities have grown greatly. He played a key role in building a strong relationship with AdamsBridge, seamlessly transitioning our accounts payable process to one of their teams—now under his leadership. He has also expanded his property portfolio to include several of Neyer’s largest developments and operating entities.
In his role, Charlie’s core responsibilities include closing the books and preparing monthly financial statements for our properties, preparing quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations, and performing treasury management functions. Additionally, he manages the quarterly capital expenditure (CAPEX) and construction-in-progress (CIP) reporting.
Throughout the time he has spent at Neyer, Charlie has enjoyed connecting with our partners outside the company through events like Keeneland and other company outings.
As a Cincinnati native, his favorite thing the Queen City has to offer is the great selection of breweries and restaurants, like Rhinegeist and Fifty West. He also enjoys cheering on the Bengals and bowling in a recreational league.
A fun fact some may not know about Charlie is that he enjoys smoking & barbequing meat in his spare time at home!
