Originally from Middletown, Ohio, Chris came to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology and an associate degree in Civil Construction Engineering.
Following graduation, a co-op-turned-career at Al. Neyer helped Chris develop an early appreciation for all aspects of commercial real estate, particularly the so-called “complicated deals” that require creative thinking and active problem-solving.
After 25 years with Al. Neyer, Chris joined Neyer Properties in 2012. Drawn by the company’s entrepreneurial spirit and fearless commitment to transforming communities through real estate, Chris quickly became founder and CEO Dan Neyer’s right-hand man.
Since then, Chris has served as Executive Vice President, stewarding Neyer Properties’ public-private partnership initiatives, overseeing company design/build and business development efforts, and leading new real estate development projects.
He has led the development of many high-profile projects throughout the region, including the historic Baldwin redevelopment and new Cincinnati Ballet venue, Three Oaks in Oakley, and newest Neyer venture – Torque Suites.
Outside the office, Chris lives by the advice he gives his two sons: work hard and always give back. He dedicates his time beyond work to several organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, Boy Scouts of America, Matthew 25 Ministries and A Kid Again of Southwest Ohio. For 16 years, Chris served the City of Montgomery as a community Councilman and as Mayor from 2015 to 2021.
Chris and his wife, Michelle, have resided in Montgomery, Ohio for over 25 years.
