She brings over a decade of experience across a wide range of accounting roles after beginning her career in residential and affordable housing after college.
At Neyer Properties, Elizabeth leads the company’s accounting operations and maintains strong financial controls to ensure funds and assets are secure. While no two days are exactly alike, her typical responsibilities include reviewing monthly financial statements and budget projections, as well as coordinating year-end financial statements and tax returns with the company’s CPA firm. She also manages key treasury functions, such as opening and closing bank accounts and monitoring account balances.
Her role has significantly evolved during her time at the company. Elizabeth began as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the AdamsBridge team and streamlining accounting processes to improve efficiency. Since then, she has been promoted to Controller, expanding her responsibilities beyond day-to-day accounting. In her current role, she is involved with asset management and handles CAM reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting, while continuing to deepen her knowledge of Neyer’s development efforts alongside its current operations. Thriving on the challenges each day brings, Elizabeth finds enjoyment analyzing financial data and tackling the unique complexities each property presents.
She values working for a small company where everyone genuinely cares about each other. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and Elizabeth feels that everyone is aligned in the shared goal of “Building the Best Us.” She looks forward to bonding with everyone over company outings and team lunches.
Outside of work, Elizabeth dedicates as much time as possible to her four children. Weekends are typically filled with sports like soccer, baseball, and football, as well as time spent outdoors. As a family, they love camping, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and taking on creative crafts & home projects together.
Elizabeth often begins her Sundays at church before heading home to prepare a big breakfast for her family. She enjoys spending the morning with them while they all unwind and recharge for the week ahead.
