With eight years of real estate experience across property management, commercial development, and investments, this philosophy has guided Mitch’s career advancement and helped prepare him for taking on leadership responsibilities.
What first drew Mitch to Neyer in 2021 was the flexibility and opportunity to broaden his experience beyond accounting into the development side of the industry. With his latest promotion to Accounting Manager of Real Estate Development, Mitch is now further involved in the operating and development sectors of our business, as well as the company’s newest venture—Torque Motor Suites.
In his day-to-day work, Mitch compiles and analyzes financials, creates and updates financial reports to support informed decision-making, and handles Torque closings. He manages the financial preparation and review process for our land and development entities, along with treasury management and the budgeting and forecasting process for those entities. Additionally, he is responsible for creating and managing priority return schedules and waterfall schedules for joint ventures, while also leading and implementing process improvements across the organization.
Driven and dedicated in his work, Mitch is the first person on both sides of his family tree to attend college and receive a bachelor’s degree—an accomplishment he takes great pride in. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Real Estate with a focus on finance, acquisitions and dispositions, and commercial real estate development at Georgetown University.
Although not native to Greater Cincinnati, Mitch has always loved what Northern Kentucky has to offer—especially Covington. While many Cincinnatians are reluctant to cross the bridge, he believes great food, drinks, and entertainment don’t stop at the river.
When he’s not spending his time studying or exploring NKY, Mitch enjoys watching baseball, particularly the San Francisco Giants. He even played club baseball at Xavier and coached for Roger Bacon High School in the past. For downtime, he loves relaxing on the patio at home with his wife and daughter.
