She oversees monthly closings, tracks fixed assets, monitors cash flows, and prepares and reviews financial statements for investors. Tammy also completes work papers for annual audits and tax returns, ensuring all financial processes remain timely and compliant.
In addition to her core responsibilities, she manages Neyer’s third-party accountant, AdamsBridge, and works closely with company’s external accounting advisors at Clark Schaefer Hackett who conducts the company’s audits and tax preparations. She coordinates all required financial materials, helping maintain communication and efficient workflows across teams.
Known as being dedicated and deadline-driven, Tammy is valued for her keen eye for detail and her ability to anticipate potential issues before they become problems. She is always on the lookout for balance-sheet inconsistencies, billing errors, and variances between property budgets and actuals—drawing on her expertise and years of experience with Neyer’s processes.
She enjoys the variety her role offers, noting that no two days are alike due to the diverse property types and projects within Neyer’s portfolio. Over the years, Tammy has learned the importance of flexibility, especially in a fast-moving industry where priorities can quickly shift. When faced with challenges, she takes a step back to consider the bigger picture before determining the best path forward.
With time spent in large corporate environments before coming to Neyer, she appreciates the close-knit culture of a smaller company. One of Tammy’s most rewarding experiences at Neyer Properties has been participating in volunteer days at the Freestore Foodbank—opportunities she values for both community impact and team bonding.
Outside the office, Tammy likes cheering on her son at his baseball and basketball games and spending time with friends and family. Although not originally from Ohio, she is now a Cincinnati sports fan because of her family. Her son and husband enjoy UC Bearcats athletics, as well as attending Cincinnati Reds games and collecting team bobbleheads.
